Policies and Procedures
It is our goal to provide your requested service as expeditiously as possible. At the time of booking you will receive an estimated time of arrival. Appointments times are an estimate because of things that may be out of our control. Sometimes jobs can take longer than expected and we all know how Charlotte traffic can be! Our Detail Specialists will keep you advised of any delays in arrival.
Making a reservation via our on-line booking system does not guarantee a specified date or time of services unless payment is received at the time of booking. If payment is not received Mr. Refurbisher reserves the right to alter or move a requested booking to align with staffing levels, weather conditions and equipment availability. An on-line reservation should not be considered confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Mr. Refurbisher.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Your appointment is very important to us and it is reserved especially for you. We understand that plans change. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. We also still need to pay your Detail Specialists for their time. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation Fee will apply. This Cancellation Policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our team members schedule filled, thus better serving everyone.
Cancellations or rescheduled appointments without 24 hour notice are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. To cancel or reschedule your appointment contact us at 704-222-1009.
Most of our work is done outside. As a result we monitor weather conditions to ensure that it is safe and that it makes sense to dispatch our Detail Specialist. We do not dispatch Detail Specialist when services are to be performed outside, if the temperature is below 35° F or if it is raining, snowing, sleeting or other weather conditions would make it difficult for the Detail Specialist to complete the service requested. In the event a confirmed reservation is cancelled by Mr. Refurbisher due to inclement weather, we will reschedule your appointment to the next most mutually convenient time, or provide a refund if requested. You will be notified by Mr. Refurbisher as soon as practicable if it is necessary to cancel your appointment due to inclement weather. If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to inclement weather, please keep in mind our Cancellation policy as a cancellation with less than 24-hour notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Wait Time Policy:
Mr. Refurbisher Detail Specialists make every effort to be on time and to start and complete your service within the allotted time frame. Detail Specialists are not permitted to delay any service more than 15 minutes after the scheduled service time without management approval. Failure of a client to be present at the time and location of the order service will result in a minimum charge of $25. Services that are delayed (with management approval) may be subject to an additional Wait Time charge.
Mr. Refurbisher provides services at our advertised and standard rates within our service area. We welcome and are happy to serve customers who may be outside of our service area, however a travel fee may apply if a customer is outside our travel area (25 miles).
It is our pleasure to bring our services to you! When scheduling an on-site service it is imperative that you have a site such as your home or office and/or that you have the permission of the homeowner to utilize our services at the site. Mr. Refurbisher will not work on vehicles parked on the street where it may be unsafe for our Detail Specialist to do so or in areas where it may be illegal to do so.
Requesting a detailing service for your vehicle means you will need to provide access to the interior or the vehicle. If you will not be available to provide access to the vehicle you must make arrangement ahead of time with Mr. Refurbisher if the keys for the vehicle will be left in the custody of someone else or in a location accessible to the Mr. Refurbisher Detail Specialist. Unless arrangements are made otherwise or the registered owner is available to take possession of the keys after the service has been completed, the keys to the vehicle will be returned to the same person or location from which they were retrieved by the Detail Specialist.
Liability for Damages to the Vehicle:
By engaging the services of Mr. Refurbisher you agree that Mr. Refurbisher will not be held liable for any mechanical or pre-existing conditions such as dents, scratches and any other pre-exiting damage to the vehicle’s interior or exterior; nor for any damages or loss of articles /belonging due to theft, fire, accident or any other circumstance not cause by Mr. Refurbisher or its Detail Specialists. It is your responsibility to make Detail Specialists aware of any areas of the vehicle that are fragile, no longer functional or requires additional care during the service process. Before engaging Mr. Refurbisher you should be sure that your vehicle can withstand the normal cleaning process. It is also your responsibility to review your vehicle with a Detail Specialist following the completion of the service before they leave the premises. Once the Mr. Refurbisher Detail Specialist, affiliate, member or representative has turned the vehicle back over to you, Mr. Refurbisher is absolved of all liability pertaining to your vehicle or belonging. Any damages claims as a result of the cleaning process will be limited to the cost of the service and must be accompanied by proof that the damage was caused by the cleaning process.
